A series of topical studios that touch upon the myriad practices of graphic design. Students produce and analyze form and content according to each individual topic. Media engagement varies across sections. The topic in this section is speculative design, critical design, and design fiction practices and methodologies.

Students utilized speculative design, critical design, and design fiction methodologies to develop designed artifacts from the year 2073. These various artifacts investigate the “library of the future” and explored concepts of universal accessibility, biometrics, artificial intelligence, and anticipatory design.
